It is not necessary to be a Christian or a “church goer” to attend the church service. People from different countries enjoy the international flavour and fellowship of the church. It is a place to make new friends, learn about the bible and even practice your English!
Many different types of people, from all over canton Bern , come to Biel English Church. They find a place where they can enjoy the short service and make new friends. The service normally lasts about 50 minutes. There is coffee (and tea) after the service and a chance to chat.
We are always looking for people who can sing. As we enjoy singing in our worship but we would like a few more people who can make a “joyful noise to the Lord”. We have as our organist Frau Gasser.
Visitors come from Biel, Lyss, Neuchatel, Solothurn and Bern and many other areas. The worship is in English.
The worship is in the Anglican tradition, but is also international.
